Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by one son, Errol Malbrough and wife, Barbara, of Houma; one brother, Dallas Duplantis of Owensboro, Ky.; one sister, Marion Pontiff of Houma; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold P. Malbrough; her second husband, Oliver Ray "Ollie" Gardner; her parents, Calvin Duplantis and Clothilde LeBlanc Duplantis; two brothers, Perry and Floyd Duplantis; and two sisters, Lenora English and Annalea Hebert. She was a retired file clerk with Orkin and was a welder in World War II at Avondale Shipyard building Higgins Boats. She was a member of the Elks Club, Catholic Daughters, V.F.W. Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
