Marie Farbe

Marie Jean Farbe, 63, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose, died at 
4:40 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2005.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Monday at Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our 
Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, with burial in the 
church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Farbe Sr.; two sons, Frank Farbe Jr. and 
wife, Julia, and Floyd Griffin; three daughters, Sandy Hotard and husband, 
Anthony, Sharos Dardar and husband, Isadore, and Lava Farbe; eight brothers, 
Wilson, Edward, Adam, Lawrence Jr., Octave, Michael, Wildless and Irvin Verdin; 
one sister, Elozia Gisclair; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Felicia Verdin; two 
brothers, Alphonse and Paul Verdin; and two grandchildren, Dakota Bergeron and 
Joey Anthony Farbe.
