The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= February 15. 2005 12:42PM Owen Blanchard [Photo] Owen "Tee" Paul Blanchard, 82, a native of Humphrey and resident of Houma, died at 1:25 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2005. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by six stepchildren; one brother, Carl "Pal" Blanchard of Houma; two sisters, Mildred B. Dupre of Houma and Eva B. Hebert of Gibson; and 18 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Threadway Blanchard; his parents, Theophile Blanchard and Mary Trahan Blanchard; one stepchild; four brothers, Morris, Curtis, Anthony and Enos Blanchard; and one sister, Lorraine B. Guidry. He was a retired marsh buggy operator with Marsh Equipment Inc. and worked in C.C. Labor Camps during the war. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
