Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Mary Solet Gregoire of Dulac; one son, Paul I. Gregoire and wife, Roxanne, of Dulac; two daughters, Mathilda Verret and husband, Glen, of Dulac, and Pauline Bergeron and husband, Pete, of Gray; one brother, John Gregoire of Houma; two sisters, Celine Martinez and Antoine Feet of Grand Caillou; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre Gregoire and Marie Solet Gregoire; two brothers, Joseph Julius "Ringo" Gregoire and Pierre "Neg" Gregoire; one sister, Anna Mae Gregoire; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Gregoire and Mr. and Mrs. Michelle Solet. He was a retired ice maker with Ivy Authement Ice Company for 49 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 7722 of Dulac, 3rd and 4th degree, Holy Name Society President, past Color Grand Commander for last 24 years, past Faithful Navigator, and past Grand Knight.
