Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife, Linda Babin Guidry of Houma; his mother, Cecelia Marie Bourg Guidry of Houma; two sons, Robert J. "Bobby" Guidry Jr. and wife, Tiffany Simoneaux Guidry of Gonzales; two daughters, Connie Guidry of Baton Rouge and Wendy Guidry Adams and huband, D.J., of Thibodaux; two brothers, Duane Guidry of Aurora, Colo., and Paul Bourg of Houma; one sister, Mary Ann Rodrigue of Houma; three grandchildren, Kellie Campbell of Houma, Elaina Adams of Thibodaux and Tyler Guidry of Gonzales; and one great-grandchild, Trey Campbell of Houma. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis J. Guidry Sr.; four brothers, Hayes Guidry, Arlen Guidry, Curtis Guidry and Louis Guidry Jr.; and three sisters, Myrl James, Lottie Bowman and Betty Guidry. He was a sales supervisor with Sea Safety and Survival and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was outgoing, never met a stranger, enjoyed life to the fullest, quick witted and always straight to the point. He was a loving father, grandfather and great- grandfather who will be forever missed. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
