Rose Malone

Rose Mary Leonard Malone, a native of Houma and resident of the Westbank, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of Wisdom 
Nursing Home Chapel in Algiers. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, 
with burial in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Jo Anne M. Mire; two sons, Gerald L. and Terry 
L. Malone; two brothers, Vincent and Harry Leonard; six grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Granvell Leasel Malone; one son, 
Dwight N. Malone; her parents, Ellis Leonard and Maria Trahan Leonard; one 
brother, Easton Leonard; and two sisters, Lorina Pellegrin and Eva L. Bennett.

She was a parishioner of Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church in Harvey, a 
member of Infant Jesus Golden Agers and a volunteer at West Jefferson Hospital 
for 30 years.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Our Lady of Wisdom are preferred.
