The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= February 03. 2005 12:35PM Yvonne Ordoyne Yvonne Saucier Ordoyne, 85, a native of Moncla and resident of Larose for 67 years, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by four daughters, Yvonne Fanguy, Louise Adams, Therese Faucheux and Alice "Chippy" Ordoyne; two brothers, Clyston and Walter Saucier; one sister, Rhea White; six grandchildren, Celeste Savoie, Stephanie Manson, Andre' Adams, Jason Griffin, Adam Faucheux and Aimee Faucheux; and two great- grandchildren, Caroline Savoie and Anna Claire Manson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis E. "Wimpy" Ordoyne; her parents, Louis Sr. and Sidonie Moncla Saucier; one brother, Louis E. Saucier Jr.; and one sister, Anna Mae Ducote. She was a retired educator with Lafourche Parish Public Schools after 32 years and was a member and past president of the Ladies Altar Society. She was fondly called "Miss Candle" by many parishioners. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
