Preston Parfait					[Photo}

Preston H. Parfait, 70, a native and resident of Grand Caillou, died at 10:45 
a.m. Sunday, March 6, 2005.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at 
Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at 
Prevost Cemetery, with burial in Prevost Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Parfait; two sons, Preston Parfait Jr. and 
Clarence Guidry Jr.; seven daughters, Dorrell Guidry, Cathy Dardar, Mae Edwards, 
Elma Robichaux, Rita Ann Martin, Merita Solet and Leona Self; one brother, 
Hilton Parfait; one sister, Mary Scott; 31 grandchildren; and 14 great-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Rosalie Verdin Parfait; one 
brother, Dennis Parfait Jr.; and one grandson, Joshua Fanguy.
