Martin, 64, a native of Chacahoula and resident of Schriever, died at 9:12 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Janice Marchand Martin; one son, Derrin Martin; two daughters, Darlene Hattier and husband, Gary, and Mary Benson and husband, Greg; one sister, Ada Lawless; five grandchildren; and one gret-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Richard Martin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, New Orleans Province, 45 Elysian Fields Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. March 24. 2005 12:00AM A.J. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Richard Martin. He was an employee of Terrebonne Parish School Board for 38 years and retired as principal of Caldwell Middle School.
