The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= March 03. 2005 12:24PM Anderson Wallace [Photo] Anderson "Pistol Pete" Wallace, 68, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Gertrude Geddes Willis- Terrebonne Funeral Home Chapel. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in New Rising Sum Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Calloway Wallace; five sons, James Wallace, Anderson Pedro Wallace III, Anderson Wallace Jr. and Ricky Wallace, all of Houma, and Joel Williams; five daughters, Shawn C. Garrison, Nicole Wallace, Veronica Wallace and Beverly Wallace, all of Houma, and Lisa Burrell of Michigan; three sisters, Beatrice J. Wallace, Josephine Wallis of Houma and Jo Ann W. Hunter of Chicago; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezekiel Wallace Sr. and Ophelia Watson Wallace; four brothers, James, Hershey, Ezekiel and Joseph Wallace; and two sisters, Elizabeth W. Winslow and Geraldine W. Turner. He was a retired truck driver and was Baptist. Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
