Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gerald Joseph Brown Sr. of Houma; one daughter, Laura Brown Thibodaux and husband, Brian Paul Thibodaux of Gray; two brothers, Albert Delaune Jr. and Alvin Delaune Sr. of Houma; two sisters, Sandra D. Rhodes of Mississippi and Nancy D. Mann of Kissimmee, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Sarah L. Pamplin of Houma and Brian X. Thibodaux of Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Delaune Sr. and Laura Saintes Delaune; one son, Gerald Brown Jr.; and one daughter, Loretta Brown Pamplin. She was a homemaker and a past member of the Krewe of Cleophas in Thibodaux. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and cherished her time with all of her family. She loved to cook and fish in her earlier days even throughout her illness, she fought it bravely and will be missed for her heart of gold. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
