Armina Cheramie

Armina Ledet Cheramie, 85, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, 
died at 11:23 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church in Galliano. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in 
Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Gerald J. Cheramie and wife, Jeanette; three 
sisters, Velma Badeaux, Elva Babcock and Dora Mae Terrebonne; two grandchildren; 
and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henri Cheramie; three brothers, Early, 
Herman and Levy Ledet; and four sisters, Alzina Esponge, Mena Hickman, Almisa 
Cockrum and Anna Mae Fabiano.

She was a member of St. Joseph Ladies Altar Society and St. Joseph Choir.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
