Cecile Toups						[Photo]

Cecile Peltier Toups, 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Monday, March 
21, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Landry Funeral Home and from 8 
a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass 
will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Toups; two sons, George and Stephen Toups; 
one daughter, Martha Toups Verdin; two sisters, Florence P. Molaison and Theresa 
P. Toups; and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Peltier and Marie Gaudet 
Peltier; and one sister, Frances P. Maureaux.

She was a retired schoolteacher for 20 years from the Lafourche Parish School 
Board.
