David Phares

David "Greaux" John Phares, 45, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, died at 
5:45 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the 
church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Brown Phares; one brother, Jack Phares; and two 
sisters, Mary Cox and Betty Orgeron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson D. Phares and Mary Guidry 
Phares.

He was a shrimper and was Catholic.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses are preferred.
