Dennis Chiasson					[Photo]

Dennis J. Chiasson, 96, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, March 
22, 2005.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph Co-
Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by three sons, Irvin Chiasson and wife, Margaret, Nolan Chiasson 
and wife, Alice, and Allen Chiasson and wife, Audrey; two daughters, Ebbie and 
husband, Junius Arabie, and Della and husband, Floyd Degruise; one brother, Huey 
Chiasson; three sisters, Elise Morvant, Rita Thibodeaux and Shirley Boudreaux; 
22 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ulyssia Morvant Chiasson; his parents, 
Alcee Chiasson and Laura Chiasson; one brother, Clarence Chiasson; and three 
sisters, Leonise Gauthier, Olivia Morvant and Maria Gauthier.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
