The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= March 16. 2005 12:33PM Dolores Poirrier [Photo] Dolores "Doe" Himel Poirrier, 72, a native of Thibodaux and lifelong resident of Vacherie, died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2005, at her residence from complications of a stroke. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Whitney J. Poirrier; three daughters, Cheryl P. Radosta, Kay P. Matherne and Monique P. Magee; one brother, Joseph Himel; three sisters, Bea H. Easley, Doris Aucoin and Gertrude H. Owens; and one grandson, Scott Whitney Radosta. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Emma Clement Himel; two brothers, Edward and Norman Himel; and two sisters, Elva Chaisson and Anna Mae Raziano. Rose Lynn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
