The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= March 20. 2005 1:42AM Earl Martin [Photo] Earl Francis Martin, 57, a native of Houma and resident of Freeport, Texas, died at 5:15 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2005, after a long fight of trying to survive the amputation of both legs. A memorial service will be Saturday, April 2, 2005, in Freeport. He is survived by his best friend and partner, Ricki Parker; one brother, Carrol Martin and wife, Lisa; one sister, Earline Theriot and husband, Buck, of Raceland; four nephews, Cy Martin, Pfc. Dex Martin, USMC, Marty Domangue and Kyle Domangue; three nieces, Bobette Talbot, Leigh Champagne and Marcelli Rosamond; and his extended family, Mitch, Heather and Brant Peltier of Angleton, Texas. He was a U.S. Vietnam veteran and was Catholic. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the VA Medical Center, 2002 Holcome Blvd., Houston, TX 77030, c/o Volunteer Office in memory of Earl Martin.
