Elgin Bourgeois

Elgin "Brother" Bourgeois, 72, a native of Raceland and resident of Houma, died 
at 4 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2005.

Funeral services were scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Mokrycki Bourgeois of Houma; one son, 
Michael S. Bourgeois and wife, Connie, of Houma; one daughter, Leslie A. 
Bourgeois of Dallas; one sister, Doris Harrington of Lafayette; and two 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Moise Bourgeois and Lucille Matherne 
Bourgeois.

He was a retired salesman with Svaboda Distributors and was a U.S. Air Force 
veteran of World War II and Korean War.

He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to Bayou Region Hospice, 195 Corporate 
Drive, Houma, LA 70360, are preferred.
