Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Hilary Catholic Church of Poitiers in Raceland. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. She is survived by three sons, Paul, Roy and Leroy Cheramie; two brothers, Villier and Moise Landry; three sisters, Leona Bourgeois, Annie Matherne and Una Ledet; one stepsister, Doris Sanchez; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Cheramie Jr.; her parents, Lucien Felician Landry and Ernestine Rousso Landry; her stepmother, Marie Vicknair Landry; one son, Calvin Cheramie; one daughter, Joyce Melancon; two brothers, Ernest and Eugene Landry; three sisters, Noby Levron, Mildred Blanche Keller and Bernice Aucoin; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church.
