Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma, with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by four sons, Mike and Nell Kay, Mark and Debbie Kay, Matt Kay and fiancee', Susan, and Tim and Priscilla Kay; two daughters, Deborah and Clark Robichaux and Candace Kay; 11 grandchildren, Aaron Robichaux, Angela Waguespack, Reagan R. Dukes, Sydney Adams, Jason Robichaux, Sammy Kay Jr., Chandler Kay, Chance Kay, Tim Kay, Grant Kay and Justin Kay; two sisters, Fannie Lee Faucheaux and Mary Ann Hutchinson; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Fred E. Kay; her parents, George Lee and Irene Sterkins Cenac; three brothers, Burt Lee Cenac, J.B. "Red" Cenac and Walt Cenac; and one sister, Julia Cenac. She was a member of Terrebonne Genealogical Society, was a fabulous seamstress and cherished her family greatly. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Bayou Regions Hospice. Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
