Joe Lewis III						[Photo]

Joe Lewis III, 53, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died 
Sunday, March 6, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Community Funeral 
Home Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with 
burial in New Zion Cemetery.

He is survived by one son, Joe Lewis IV; two brothers, Timothy Lewis and wife, 
Harriet, and Frankie Lewis Sr.; three sisters, Monica Lewis, Christine Lewis and 
Harriet Williams and husband, Milton; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lewis Jr. and Luverdia Maryland 
Lewis; one sister, Veronica Lewis; and one sister-in-law, Angelette Smith Lewis.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and was Baptist.
