Lelia Talbot

Lelia Hebert Talbot, 97, a native and resident of Labadieville, died Sunday, 
March 27, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time 
Friday at Landry's Funeral Home in Labadieville. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday 
at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville, with burial in the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Jane Mabile and husband, Larry Mabile, and 
Janet Gros; six grandchildren, Connie Chiasson, Guy and Todd Mabile, Leah 
Benoit, Celeste M. Chesney and Billy Gros; seven great-grandchildren, Casey and 
Callie Chiasson, Justin, Lauren, Cory and Kerry Mabile and Madison Gros; one 
daughter-in-law, Gladys Talbot; and two sisters-in-law, Heloise Webre and 
Estelle Hebert.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Seraphin Talbot; her parents, Alcee 
Hebert and Philomena Vice Hebert; two sons, Guy and Louis Talbot; one son-in-
law, Michael Gros; one infant daughter; one brother, Herbert Hebert; and three 
sisters, Blanche Garcia, Agnes Thibodeaux and Hazel Boudreaux.

She was a resident of Thibodaux Health Care Center for the past five years.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
