Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church. Mass will be at noon Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Della Arcement Blanchard of Houma; one son, Kenneth Blanchard and wife, Sherry, of Houma; one daughter, Judith Hicks and husband, Earl, of Houma; one sister, Mabel Guidry of Houma; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay Blanchard and Albertine Champagne Blanchard; two brothers, Raoul and Ivan Blanchard; and one sister, Allie Babin. He was self-employed with Blanchard House Plan Service and was a U.S. Army veteran.
