Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Twin City Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial in Morgan City Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Mann of Morgan City and Colleen S. Orgeron and husband, Doug, of Lafayette; three sons, Sergin Joseph "S.J." Sampey and wife, Priscilla, of Des Allemands, Larry Sampey and wife, Claire, of Bayou Vista and William "Peter" Sampey of Raceland; four sisters, Bertha L. Cunningham of Houma, Ethel L. LaMaster and husband, Herb, of Morgan City, Bernice L. "Sis" Guidry of Houma and Yvonne L. Giroir of Houma; two brothers, Earl Louviere and wife, Zona, of Bayou Black and Nolan Louviere and wife, Dot, of Houma; 11 grandchildren, Troy Sampey and wife, Amy, Sean Sampey and wife, Mickey, Anne Mary Doss and husband, David, Tony Sampey and wife, Lauren, David Sampey and wife, Brandi, Stephanie Frost and husband, Man, Stephen Mann, Laura E. Sampey, Lacy Sampey, Sara Mancuso, Kathyryn Mancuso, Chris Orgeron and Cyrus Orgeron; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Louviere and Leontene Dufrene Louviere; her first husband of more than 35 years, Sergin J. Sampey Sr.; her second husband of more than 18 years, Wickles P. Cortez; and two brothers, Herbert Louviere and Norman Louviere. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of the St. Mary Parish AARP. Twin City Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
