Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at New St. John Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in Halfway Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Elign and Wilbert Sims; two daughters, Lorena Myles and husband, Curtis, and Iris Sims; three brothers, Benny, Oliver Francois and Calvin Scoby; four sisters, Eartha, Delores Francois, Rose Myles and husband, Johnny, and Earline Scoby; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Sims Sr.; her parents, Benjamine and Olivia Jones Francois; one son, Clarence Sims Jr.; one daughter, Norma Jean Sims; one brother, Wilbert Francois Sr.; and one sister, Agnes Francois. She was a homemaker, deaconess and member of New St. John Baptist Church.
