Medora Himel						[Photo]

Medora Annemarie Himel, 95, a native of Labadieville and resident of Thibodaux, 
died at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Christ the Redeemer 
Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in 
St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Junius P. Himel and wife, Debbie Dauzat Himel; five 
daughters, Doris H. Ledet and husband, Claude "C.J.", Hazel H. Aucoin and 
husband, Berthon, Stella H. Montet, Love H. Thibodaux and husband, Donald, and 
Medora H. Hebert and husband, Douglas; one brother, Joseph Hidalgo; three 
sisters, Uranie Sonier, Agatha Martinez and Rita Billelo; 16 grandchildren; and 
18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius Joseph Himel; her parents, Paul 
David and Estelle Hidalgo; one great-grandson, Andre' Boudreux; four brothers, 
Alcide, Paul, Hypolite and Alcee Hidalgo; one sister, Estella Boudreaux; and two 
infant sisters.

She was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
