Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in Morristown Benevolent Cemetery. He is survived by one sister, Margaret Williams of Raceland; and numerous relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife, Drewcelia Anderson; his parents, John Sr. and Susan Anderson; one stepson, Lloyd Junior; two brothers, John Anderson Jr. and Richard Anderson; and two sisters, Edna Charles and Rosa Anderson. He was a member of New St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in New Orleans and was a U.S. World War II Army veteran.
