Armena Zwiefel

Armena Smith Zwiefel, 90, a native of Galliano and resident of Cut Off, died at 
6:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Samart Funeral Home 
in Cut Off. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 
with burial in St. Louis Cemetery No. 3 in New Orleans.

She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Marie LeBlanc and Mary Madeline Istre; 
one brother, Navadie Smith; two sisters, Ezar Lafont and Ida Danos; and nine 
grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Jules Ybarzabal; her parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Washington Smith; one daughter, Delores Theriot; three brothers, 
Andrew, Louis and Preslege Smith; and two sisters, Celia Terrebonne and Rosita 
Smith.
