Avery Butler Jr.					[Photo]

Avery "Sun" Butler Jr., 86, a native of Morgan City and resident of Gibson, died 
at 7:52 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Community Funeral 
Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with 
burial in St. James Cemetery.

He is survived by one sister, Bessie M. Butler of Gibson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery Sr. and Rebecca Butler; four 
brothers, Roy, Harold, Lawrence and Hugh Butler; and three sisters, Cora B. 
Harding, Lillie Mae B. Short and Leona B. Diggs.

He was a self-employed electrician.
