Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Vickers, Verrette and Dornan Funeral Home in Chalmette. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with a church service to follow at Poydras Baptist Church. Interment will be in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence O. "Pete" Billiot; four children, Kevin, Keith, Karen and Karla Billiot; two daughter-in-laws, Kelly and Audrey Billiot; eight grandchildren, Colleen, Melanie, Caroline, Alec, Keith, Kelsey, Cole and Kayla; two sisters, Glenda Barnes and Louise Martinez Ard; two brothers, Wayne and Melvin Bryant; dearest sister-in-law of Jane and Marvin Morgan; a host of nieces and nephews. She was the beloved niece of Charles Jackson of Tracy City, Tenn. and of Alice Morree of Sumrall, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Ethel Bryant. She was a personal service representative for the U.S. Department of Agricultural National Finance Center. She was a licensed practical nurse and former employee of First National and Hibernia banks. She was a Christian and a member of Poydras Baptist Church. Vickers, Verrette and Dornan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
