Bertha Lathrop

Bertha Marie Terrebonne Lathrop, 88, a native of Cut Off and resident of Golden 
Meadow, died at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the 
church, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Woodford "Woody" Lathrop III and wife, Joyce C.; one 
daughter, Brenda M. Johnson and husband, Dwight; six grandchildren; and six 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodford Henry "Wood" Lathrop Jr.; her 
parents, Alphonse and Marie Lorraine Terrebonne; six brothers, Richard, Ludvic, 
Edwin, Jefferson, William and Alphonse Terrebonne Jr.; and one sister, Ozia 
Autin.

She was Catholic.
