Charles Cordes

Charles Edward Cordes, 75, a native and resident of Lockport, died at 9:30 a.m. 
Tuesday, April 12, 2005.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to funeral time Friday at Samart Funeral Home in 
Raceland. Religious service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Annicaro Cordes; three sons, Peter Richard 
Williams, Anthony Salvatore Cordes and Joseph Frank Cordes; two daughters, 
Marlene Ann Cordes and Agnes Louise Cordes; one brother, George Cordes; one 
sister, Rose Marie Cordes; and 13 grandchildren.

He was a school crossing guard and auxiliary policeman for 25 years.

He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, Lockport Volunteer Fire 
Department and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was Catholic.
