Della "LaLa" Martin Moosa, 89, a native of Bourg and resident of Houma, died at 
12:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 
9:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma. 
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at 
the church, with burial in St. Ann Cemetery.

She is survived by three sisters, Ann M. Conrad, Gladys M. Lindsey and Theresa 
M. Martin of Houma; one niece; one nephew; one great-niece and six great-
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund M. Moosa; her parents, Teles 
Joseph Martin and Marguerite Aglia Robichaux Martin; one brother, Joseph A. 
Martin; and one sister, Louise Marie Sobert.

She was a retired clerk and former owner of various businesses. She was a member 
of the Catholic Daughters of America and St. Francis de Sales Altar Society and 
was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
