Wiley, 85, a native of Magnolia, Ark., and resident of Houma, died at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2005. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. He is survived by his wife, Annabelle C. Wiley; four sons, Mike, Pat and George Wiley and Wilton Roddy; three daughters, Betty King, Codie Kilgore and Leona Brock; two brothers, Wade Wiley and Jimmy Wiley; one sister, Phyllis Newton; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Thomas Wiley and Eleanor Dodson Wiley; two brothers; and two sisters. He was an oilfield service operator and a U.S. World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy and in the Korean War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 267, Houma Shriners, 32nd degree and a member of the Church of the Nazarene. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help with medical expenses are preferred.
