Georgiana Epps						[Photo]

Georgiana Jones Epps, 77, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 1:35 a.m. 
Monday, April 4, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Morning Star Baptist 
Church in Raceland. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with 
burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Smith, Ella Epps and Ethelene 
Thompkins, all of Raceland; one son, Isaac Epps Jr. of Raceland; 15 
grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary Jones; her husband, Isaac 
Epps Sr.; one daughter, Gloria Rose; two brothers, Cornelius Ingram and Clarence 
Jones Sr.; and three sisters, Gladys Brown, Pearl Jacobs and Florida Albert.

She was a member and former usher of Morning Star Baptist Church.
