Gregory Greco

Gregory C. Greco, 52, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Baton Rouge, died 
Friday, April 22, 2005.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday St. Genevieve Catholic 
Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with 
burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his father, Vin-cent "Bush" Greco of Thibodaux; one sister, 
Sharyn Hecard of the New Orleans area; one niece, Gina Smith of the New Orleans 
area; one nephew, Christopher Hecard of the New Orleans area; and loving friend 
Helene Jones of Baton Rouge.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Lee Cleveland Greco.

He was employed by the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport Police-Fire-Rescue Unit. 
He was the former chief of the Arson Division of the Louisiana State Fire 
Marshal's office and worked for other law-enforcement agencies in Louisiana and 
Florida.

He was a member of the Louisiana State Firemen's Association and the Knights of 
Columbus. He was a former member of Thibodaux, Schriever and St. John volunteer 
fire departments.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
