Hazel Barrios

Hazel Cheramie Barrios, 89, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, 
died Monday, April 25, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church in Galliano. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial 
in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son, Jake Barrios of Cut Off; two daughters, Betty B. 
Bourg of Galliano and Doris B. LeBoeuf of Belle Chasse; one brother, Theo 
Cheramie; one sister, Viola C. Dantin; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 
and 27 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius "John" Barrios; her parents, 
Olezime and Lucretia Eymard Cheramie; two sons, Roy Barrios of Cut Off and 
Harold Barrios of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; five brothers, Emile, Tousaint "Alex," 
Rene, Webre and Leon Cheramie; one grandson, Harold Barrios Jr.; and two great-
grandchildren, Toby Arceneau and Amy Barrios.

She was Catholic.
