The date preceding the obituary is the date of posting on the WWW, not the date of death. ============================= April 14. 2005 12:00AM John Richardson John Hunter "Jack" Richardson, 76, a native of Baines, Cuba, and resident of Thibodaux, died at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2005. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at First United Methodist Church in Thibodaux. Religious service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. John Episcopal Cemetery. He is survived by three sons, John Michael, Crosby Gaar and Hunter Louis Richardson; two daughters, Martha Evelyn R. South and Mary Sue R. Lyle; one brother, Robert Riley Richardson; 11 grandchildren, Rachel South Boquet, Sarah Lyle Smithson, Matthew Richardson South, Hunter Edward South, James Logan Lyle, Katherine Richardson Stern, Amie Victoria Richardson, Cassie Michelle Richardson, Jack Austin Richardson, Patrick Crosby Richardson and Hunter Cummings Richardson; and three great-grandchildren, Emily and Caroline Smithson and Collin Richardson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Garr Richardson; his parents, Edward Everette Richardson and Mathilde Virginie Chaisson Richardson; and one brother, E.E. Richardson Jr. He was a U.S. Marine veteran serving in the Korean War and was very active in the Masonic Lodge and First United Methodist Church in Thibodaux.
