Joseph Howard "Uncle Buck" Thibodeaux Jr., 57, a native and resident of Houma, 
died at 8:25 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2005.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 
a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Mass will be 
at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery 
No. 2.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Porche Thibodeaux of Houma; his mother, Cleon 
Marie Stevens Thibodeaux Bourgeois of Houma; two daughters, Marlo Hitt and 
husband, John, of Houma, and Bridget Dover and husband, Mike, of Ft. Mill, S.C.; 
one stepson, Ryan Burnett of Houma; one stepdaughter, Melissa Bergeron and 
husband, Chad, of Houma; one brother, James Thibodaux of Houma; one stepbrother, 
Errol Bourgeois of Houma; two sisters, Jane Daigle of Houma and June Olivier of 
Gonzales; one stepsister, Laurelle Aupied of Houma; two grandchildren, Nora 
Dover and Grant Bergeron; and one step-grandson, Reece Bergeron of Houma.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Howard Thibodeaux Sr.; and his 
stepfather, Allen Bourgeois.

He was a diesel mechanic with Scott Construction Equipment and a parishioner of 
Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
