Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by two sons, Eugene A. Tassin of Harvey and Raymond Tassin of Houma; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil P. Tassin; her parents, Placide Mayeaux and Alice Bordelon Mayeaux; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Chaisson Tassin; two brothers, Emanuel and Leo Mayeaux; and three sisters, Blanche M. Burke, Elma M. Rico and Angel M. Lemoine. She was a homemaker and a past employee for Elmer's Candy Co. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
