Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her former husband, Harry "Jun-June" Verdin of Dulac; one son, Thomas J. Verdin and wife, Desi, of Church Point; two daughters, Rhonda V. Daigle and husband, Murray, of Dulac and Veronica Standford and husband, Stewart, of Church Point; four brothers, Irvin "Yen" Verdin, Paul Larry Verdin, Peter James Verdin of Dulac and John "Morris" Verdin of Houma; one sister, Geraldine Verdin of Larose; five grandchildren, Shane Verdin of Houma, Christine Leever of Port Arthur, Texas, Dustin V. Enos, Stewart A. Standford II and Seth J. Standford of Church Point; six step-grandchildren, Derrick Daigle, Michael Daigle, Blair Daigle of Raine, Jiles Higginbotham, Heather Lyons and Mia Standford of Church Point; and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph McKinley Verdin and Juanita Foret Verdin; two brothers, Joseph "Mac" Verdin and Anthony Verdin; and one sister, Silver Jean Verdin. She was a laborer with Sea Tang Fisheries and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
