Martha Sterling					[Photo]

Martha Elizabeth Warnell Sterling, 91, a native of Brunswick, Ga., and resident 
of Houma, died at 6:50 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2005.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Park Cemetery in 
Houston.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Karon Matherne and husband, Michael, of 
Houma, and Emmitt White and wife, Donna, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; four great-
grandchildren, Ronnie White, Amanda Ledbetter, Ben Matherne and Brady Matherne; 
and four great-great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Sylvester Sterling; her parents, 
Everette Jackson Warnell and Martha Elizabeth Olsen Warnell; one daughter, 
Barbara S. Matherne; and three sisters, Louise Messer, Juanita Wingo and Mabel 
Ellis.

She was a homemaker.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
