Landry, 80, a native of Chackbay and resident of Raceland, died at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with interment in St. Hilary Resurrection Memorial Park Mausoleum. He is survived by one son Randy Landry; one daughter, Elaine L. Pierce; one son- in-law, Nickles Pierce; one daughter-in-law, Karen G. Landry; one brother, Villier Landry; four sisters, Doris Sanchez, Una Ledet, Annie Matherne and Leona Crochet; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bella Folse Landry; his parents, Lucien Felician and Ernestine Rousseau Landry; his stepmother, Marie Vicknair Landry; three brothers, Wilbert, Ernest and Joseph "Eugene" Landry; and five sisters, Nobie Levron, Mildred "Blanche" Keller, Hazel Landry, Bernice Aucoin and Elise Cheramie. He was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion and a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
