Myriel Doucet

Myriel Ann Doucet, 53, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, died 
at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Monday at Our Lady of Prompt 
Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the 
church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Lorey D. Boura and husband, Scott, and Nona R. 
Doucet and husband, David; three brothers, Don Doucet, James "Bozo" Doucet and 
wife, Pam, and Rod Doucet and wife, Debra; one sister, Cathy Gisclair and 
husband, Steve; five grandchildren, Scotty, Taylor and Laney Boura, and David 
and Mia Cheramie; two nieces, Meghan and Emily Doucet; and four nephews, Aric 
and Casey Gisclair and Michael and Adam Doucet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Marita Cheramie Doucet; her 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Levy Cheramie and Mr. and Mrs. Etienne Doucet; and 
one sister, Rita Doucet.

She enjoyed playing bingo and video poker.
