Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home Chapel. Liturgy of the Word will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by seven sons, Stanley Bussey II and wife, Carmen, Charles Bussey, Robert Bussey, Richard Bussey and wife, Lorna, of Houma, Floyd Bussie and wife, Shirley, of Atlanta, Morris Bussey and wife, Sue, of Glennrose, Texas, and Jimmy Bussey and wife, Kim, of Bourg; four daughters, Hazel Schexnayder of Marrero, Jeanette Lirette and husband, C.F., Ann Damron and Kathy Schertler of Houma; one brother, Albert Songe Jr. of Houma; one sister, Isabella Comeaux of Houma; 27 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Bussie; her parents, Albert Songe and Nathalie Samanie Songe; one son, Jerry Bussie; one daughter, Shirley Bussie; three brothers, Henry, Emile and Elmore Songe; and one sister, Cornelia LeBoeuf. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
