Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Philip Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with interment in the church mausoleum. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Emily Rodrigue Waguespack; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and William Morvant of Baton Rouge, Ramona and Joseph Whitman of Thibodaux and Reina and Richard Steele of Waynesville, N.C.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald Jr. and Phyllis of Thibodaux, Randy and Melynda of Moorehaven, Fla., and Robby and Jamie of Covington; two sisters, Laura Lee Schexnayder and husband, Arnold, and Lily Perque and husband, Roland, of Vacherie; one brother, Warren Waguespack of Houma; 15 grandchildren, Brian, Emily and Eric Morvant, Marcel, Katelyn, Kayla and Kristen Waguespack, Paul and Adrienne Whitman, Therese "Tess" and Annalise Steele, William, Grace and John Hayes Waguespack and Nicole Mathis; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Yvonne Folse Waguespack; and one son, Ranelle A. Waguespack. He was a retired supervisor from Monsanto Chemical Co. with 39 years of service and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1514, an extraordinary minister of the Eucharistic and usher at St. Philip Catholic Church. He was an avid deer hunter.
