Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephens Baptist Church in Vidalia, with burial at 9 a.m. Monday in the National Cemetery in Natchez, Miss. He is survived by three sons, Barry Joe Smith of Mansfield, Keith K. Smith and wife, Michelle, of Houma, and Stefan K. Smith and wife, Margaret, of New Roads; five daughters, Marilyn K. Turner White of Vidalia, Barbara Nell Davis and husband, Archie, and Cynthia Curvin, all of Ferriday, Martha Combs of Natchez and Curcethia Faye Smith of Atlanta; one sister, Audrey B. Franklin of Vidalia; one sister-in-law, Amelia Smith of Vidalia; 27 grandchildren; 37 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rebecca Smith. He was a carpenter and a World War II Army veteran.
