Rufus Howell

Rufus Andy Howell, 52, a native of Wayne County, N.C., and resident of Houma, 
died Tuesday, April 12, 2005.

Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Seymour Funeral Home in Goldsboro, 
N.C., with burial at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Howell Family Cemetery.

He is survived by his father, R.D. Howell Jr.; one daughter, Rebecca Andrea 
Howell of Raleigh, N.C.; his stepmother, Minnie Ginn Howell of Pikeville, N.C.; 
his stepfather, Peter Ewashkow of Bowie, Md.; one sister, Anna M. and husband, 
Doug Elmendorf, of Hardwood, Md.; three brothers, Steve Howell and wife, Judy, 
of Pikeville, Peter Ewashkow Jr. of Bowie and Robert Ewashkow and wife, Neecie, 
of Elkins, W.V.; his dear friend, Linda Walker of Jacksonville, N.C. and sons, 
Mark Walker of Houma and Michael McCollough of Graham, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Flora Howell Ewashkow.

He was employee with Torch Offshore Inc. and was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran.

He will be missed by many loving family and friends.

Although flowers are welcome, memorial donations may be made to the Wayne County 
Relay for Life or the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Seymour Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
