Ruth Richard

Ruth Ledet Richard, 77, a native of Larose and resident of Cut Off, died at 6 
p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2005.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church in Larose. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, 
with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Huey Richard Sr.; two sons, Huey Richard Jr. and 
Anthony Richard; five daughters, Faith R. Lefort, Mary Richard, Celia R. 
Cheramie, Stephanie R. Cantrelle and Michelle R. Uzee; one brother, Wade Ledet; 
two sisters, Emelda St. Pierre and Melvina Hunter; 14 grandchildren; and three 
great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Eliza Guidry Ledet; one 
son, Gordon James Richard; and three brothers, Dudley, Anthony and Peter Ledet 
Sr.

She was Catholic.
