Col. Thomas C. Nunn Sr., 77, a native of Weleetka, Okla., and resident of Thibodaux for more than 30 years, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, April 21, 2005. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Thibodaux. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. He is survived by one son, Retired Col. Thomas C. Nunn Jr. and wife, Gea, of Landgraaf, Netherlands; four daughters, Pamela Oncale and husband, Davis, of Thibodaux, Becky Watkins and husband, Johnny, of Okmulgee, Okla., Marilyn Pfefferkorn and husband, John, of Beloit, Kan., and Linda Gros and husband, Herman Jr. of Thibodaux; two brothers, David "Bud" and wife, Sarah, and Ernest and wife, Carolyn Nunn, of Townsend, Mont.; three sisters, Barbara Shinpoch and husband John, of Atlanta, Ina and husband, Perry Anderson, of Eufaula, Okla., and Sarah "Lavada" and husband, Bob Brooks, of Okmulgee; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Zaletel Nunn; his parents, Howard and Beatrice Nunn; and one granddaughter, Shantelle Marie Gros. He was a faithful and active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Thibodaux. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Assembly of God Church in Thibodaux. Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
